Description:
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Experienced DevOps engineer across full stack development, data and infrastructure layers.
- Strong experience working in CI, CD, CR at enterprise scale.
- You will have implemented a development process standard and common way of working.
- Ability to proactively and independently troubleshoot pipeline and build faults and failures.
- Deep experience with Git and related technologies.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to form proactive working relationships with diverse technical teams, system architects, product owners and platform consumers.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
HIGHLY REGARDED EXPERIENCE
- Cloud solution development and production deployment experience via automated pipelines.
- Orchestration via cloud platform APIs as well as the use of tools such as Terraform.
- Expertise with Linux (RHEL) and Windows operating systems administration and networking.
- Experience in SRE, high availability and secure systems design and troubleshooting.
- Experience with JavaScript, Perl, or Python programming.
- Experience with other automation tools such as Ansible/Puppet.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:
The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS degree in computer science or related field and relevant industry qualifications. e.g. CHEF, SAFe certified, Azure, AWS and or Hashicorp Certifications.
