Description:
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and flexible individual to work as an assistant to the Diagnostic Cardiology Unit, primarily providing support to the Supplies Management Officer at both the Northern General and Royal Hallamshire sites.
This role will also support patient flow throughout the department, promoting effective and efficient outcomes.
The successful applicant will be expected to deliver high quality, effective and efficient service to the highest professional standards as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
Report orally and via written communication to team member regarding the status of stock supplies concerns.
Report and log any estates issues relating to the department.
Issue goods in accordance with agreed procedures, completing appropriate records and documentation.
Ensure that goods are stored correctly, stock is rotated and expiry dates are checked.
Maintain stock at required levels and place orders as directed via Web basket, NHS supply chain and Inventory Management System.
Provide a high quality and efficient service by holding, maintaining, and preparing stock ready for cases.
Receive, check and put away goods items delivered to stores and maintain appropriate records on a daily basis.
Restock and tidy device and EP store rooms, damp dusting shelves, ensuring stock is refilled and in correct date order.
Transport patients safely between wards and departments as and when required.
