An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Imaging Assistant to work in Radiology at CCCL and at our new CDC. You will work alongside Radiographers and Radiologist to provide the highest possible standard of care for patients and families. We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, flexible and highly motivated individual to undertake this role.
The successful candidate will assist the Radiology staff in all aspects of patient care for a range of imaging examinations.

Within Radiology at CCCL we provide a wide range of imaging examinations including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology and PET/CT as well as conventional X-Ray. At CDC Paddington, we provide CT, MRI and Ultrasound services.
You will be required to rotate through all these modalities and training will be given. You will be an enthusiastic team player and keen to learn as this is diverse job role working across several teams within Radiology.
There is a requirement to use several different IT systems in a variety of patient pathways. Therefore, we would expect you to be computer literate and be familiar with Windows, Microsoft Office and Excel and ideally EPR systems.
You will be required to cannulate and also use different types of venous access lines and ports. No experience is necessary but enthusiasm to acquire these skills is a must and full training and support will be given.
The core hours of the department are 8:00am - 18:00 pm. There will be an expectation to participate in the extended days on a rotational basis along with Weekends and Bank holidays. You will be based at the Liverpool sites however, there is a need to be flexible including occasionally working at the Wirral site if the service requires.
