Responsibilities:

  • modifying patients’ menus based on therapeutic diet orders and THP diet definitions
  • conducting meal rounds
  • visiting patients and families for food preferences as required
  • following up on patients’ tolerance and intake of food and supplements
  • documenting in patients’ charts after each visit
  • updating patient profile in Hospitality Sute
  • calculating energy intake ( i.e. calorie counts)
  • participation in food services taste panels
  • follows up on patient concerns or complaints liaising with NFS Team Leaders
  • attends relevant meetings
  • works alternate weekends
