Description:
Are you an individual who has a passion for improving the nutritional care provided to the residents within care homes? If you enjoy educating others, working as part of a team and keen to empower others to know more about nutrition and hydration in care homes, this job could be for you!
This role is working alongside 2 Dietitians in supporting the education and training in Care Homes in relation to Nutrition and Hydration. You will be part of our friendly and supportive Core Community Dietitians team which in total comprises of 7 Dietitians and 2 administration support members of staff. This is a post for a fixed term of 2 years to complete a project looking at developing our Dietetic service to care homes in Sheffield.
This role will involve building relationships quickly when working alongside the Dietetics team, care homes and the wider community teams. The role going forward may also involve some patient reviews.
Full training will be provided and we provide all our Dietetic Assistant Practitioners with a period of competency-based training prior to working independently.
