Digital Business Analyst

This role is based in Michelin Corporate & Business Services in Bucharest, where more than 800 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Order to Cash, Service Management and Personnel.
CBS Bucharest aims to move beyond transactional services and accelerate Michelin’s transformation through value creation and technology. The Business Analyst will work with teams to identify needs, propose automation solutions, and ensure they deliver value and address business challenges.

What we’re looking for:

  • Great verbal and written communication skills;
  • Preferably 4-5 years as a Business Analyst, Digital Analyst or similar roles.
  • Advanced level of English (good level of French will be considered an advantage);
  • Knowledge of design tools (use case diagrams, flowcharts, etc.);
  • Understanding of project management principles;
  • Familiarity with project management methodology ( waterfall, agile);
  • Familiarity with industry-specific IT systems and customer-focused approach;
  • Strong process minded thinking, problem solver/ solution oriented;
  • Thinker and analyzer - with the ability to engage with stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs in rapidly changing business environments;
  • Independent, detailed oriented worker.

The Digital Business Analyst will be responsible of:

  • Project Collaboration and Assessment Needs:
  • Work with functional teams to understand and capture the needs of business entities.
  • Assess opportunities for automation within Smart Automation network.
  • Propose solutions that meet business needs and provide significant value.

Solution Consistency and Value Assurance:

  • Ensure that the developed automation solutions are consistent with the initial business needs.
  • Validate that these solutions support business issues effectively.

Knowledge and Expertise Utilization:

  • Utilize thorough knowledge of digital options and existing processes to understand and address business needs.
  • Contribute to digital projects to enhance process efficiency (Quality-Experience/Costs/Timing).

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics.
  • Ensure that business data and reporting needs are met.

Technology and Analytical Skills:

  • Apply strong technology, analytical, and communication skills to drive Smart Automation adoption.
  • Support and guide business representatives in defining requirements for process improvements and automation.

Design and Project Management Knowledge:

  • Utilize design knowledge (use case diagrams, business model diagrams, flowcharts, conceptual data modeling, business process mapping, etc.).
  • Understand project management principles and IT systems specific to the industry and CBS to prioritize effectively, maintaining a customer-focused approach.
