Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a wider, established Project and Change Management function, within a team that values you as a person and a professional. The role supports the senior digital change and governance manager with the development and application of consistent digital change methodologies and governance activities across the Trust.
The post holder will support the digital teams and wider organization with the development and implementation of standard change methodologies working alongside the senior digital change and governance manager and other team members to ensure that the right training, frameworks, documentation and support is in place in order to allow for these methodologies to be effectively deployed.
The post holder will also be required to follow agreed methodologies to ensure a sound system of portfolio governance is in place at every level of change, this will include supporting the preparation of regular reports on portfolio delivery and the maintenance of relevant programme and project management documentation.
This post holder will be required to interact with all levels within the organisation and ensure effective communication is maintained to ensure understanding of the responsibilities, needs and priorities of the organisation and the potential impact on the Digital Services Division.
Maintain the project and programme change management methodology and reporting and management systems
Support the introduction of new management methodologies, reports, and systems across Digital and the stakeholder network under the direction of the Head of Digital Portfolio.
Create regular reports on digital change activities as required, ensuring the information is readily available and kept up to date.
Provide support and co-ordination in managing all aspects of digital change and governance.
Provide support and co-ordination to digital teams in service change.
Support the development and implementation of new and improved service delivery methodologies and modernisation.
To be an active participant in specific service development projects across Digital.
Communicate information with a wide range of stakeholders for varying sectors, ensuring effective and appropriate assessment of the priority and urgency of correspondence.
Support the monitoring the delivery of activity, raising concerns in a timely manner and identifying appropriate corrective actions
To perform such other duties as may be requested from time to time across the Trust to ensure that the Trust objectives are delivered.
Support the development of systems to allow for consistent and accurate information collection relating to change and change governance which will inform future planning, service improvement and re-design within the organisation.
The Christie is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, treating over 60,000 patients a year. We are based in Manchester and serve a population of 3.2 million across Greater Manchester & Cheshire, but as a national specialist around 15% patients are referred to us from other parts of the country.

Responsibilities:

  10. To perform such other duties as may be requested from time to time across the Trust to ensure that the Trust objectives are delivered.
  11. Support the development of systems to allow for consistent and accurate information collection relating to change and change governance which will inform future planning, service improvement and re-design within the organisation.
  12. Provide change management skills input into the planning of any service
    development including change within the division/directorate as appropriate.
  13. Responsible for prioritising own work and that of others in the team.
