One (1) ongoing Digital Communications Coordinator, Grade 4 position is being offered in the Corporate Affairs Branch, Strategic Development and Customer Engagement Division, Melbourne CBD.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for providing a range of communications and administrative support across the branch and assisting with the delivery of the organisation’s communications strategies and high-quality communication materials through the coordination of digital communications campaigns, and producing content for the website and intranet.

Reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating communication advice and services, supporting the team across a range of communication functions including digital, internal communications, publications and corporate affairs.
  • Planning and executing digital marketing activities to support the organisation’s strategic communication goals and activities.
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to prepare written materials, including web content, to ensure it meets customer needs, is accurate, grammatically correct, clear, concise, and consistent in tone and message.
  • Coordinating the SRO’s LinkedIn (preparing, producing and publishing posts, managing community engagement, reporting on performance and maintaining the account) and YouTube account (uploading YouTube videos and transcripts, and publishing video content to the SRO website).
  • Producing digital multimedia assets to support the Senior Graphic Designer, as required.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience with the development and coordination of digital communications and marketing, including paid media and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Experience in corporate communications, demonstrating a background in preparing high-quality written materials for publication on a range of channels and audiences through a collaborative process and with strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organisational and planning skills to support numerous concurrent projects and activities, assisting delivery teams to monitor progress and achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of a wide range of digital tools and technologies, including web content management systems (e.g. Drupal), analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics), social media and email marketing.
  • Tertiary qualification in journalism, communications, marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience (3-5 years in a related role for a large professional organisation).
