Seeking a highly organised content professional with strong editorial instincts for a newly created role in the City of Sydney’s digital content team.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

This is a newly created role with the primary purpose of aligning our communications across various touchpoints. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing a content calendar to prioritise and schedule our content across channels including: outdoor, social media and websites. You’ll also play a key role in the What’s On team.

A TYPICAL DAY IN THIS ROLE

No two days are the same, but on a given day you might be:

  • Managing assets in our image library
  • Assisting a digital content specialist on a photo shoot
  • Creating content for social media channels or outdoor screens
  • Moderating events on What’s On
  • Publishing content to social media
  • Writing articles for our news or What’s On websites
  • Collating reports
