JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Job Title: Global Digital Content Designer
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 37.5hrs per week, 9am-5:30pm
  • Job Location: Frimley, hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
  • Salary: From £35,000
    As the Global Digital Content Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence and driving engagement across various platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling digital content that captivates our audience and aligns with our brand vision.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design new and effective digital content from initial project scope, through to storyboarding and the physical course build (using tools including – but not limited to – Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Adapt and Elucidat)
  • Apply instructional design theory and best practice
  • Create a wide-range of engaging digital content incorporating video, audio, animations, images, simulations, quizzes, etc.
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders during the project lifecycle
  • Work with the Global Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, senior stakeholders and international offices
  • Provide creative input for any digital sales proposals
  • Undertake such other duties as may from time to time be required to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong instructional design experience in the creation of digital
  • A strong understanding of digital authoring tools (such as Articulate 360, Adapt, Elucidat,)
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Highly literate with experience of creative writing
  • Good visual design skills and the ability to storyboard
  • Good verbal communicator, including the potential need to liaise with external clients
  • An understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Ability to deliver high levels of customer service
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong project management and time management skills

EXPERIENCE

  • Evidence of a previous portfolio in digital instructional design
  • Evidence of strong creative writing skills
  • Strong understanding of digital industry standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI)
  • The ability to work within a global team environment
