Reporting to the Digital Merchandising Manager, as a Digital Content Merchandiser, you will be responsible for all things content related across all our digital platforms. This includes writing our SEO content, enhancing our product content and keeping our static web content up to date for our customers.
This is a fixed-term contract opportunity until end of April 2025.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Analytical – has the ability to analyse & interpret data to make timely and considered decisions & actions. Ability to use GA4 at an intermediate level
  • Expertly make use of the merchandising and SEO systems to deliver in role
  • Preferable experience in Content Square
  • Experience in using ecommerce content management systems
  • Attention to detail and a deep understanding of customer journey optimisation
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a large number of tasks and work calmly under pressure
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to work to targets in a deadline driven environment.
  • Ambition and drive to learn / develop new skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of all digital content across all UK & IE digital platforms, including the APP and ISDB
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication of all relevant content plans
  • Work closely with the SEO manager and SEO agency to deliver all SEO content required in an accurate and timely way t drive
  • Optimise categories & products for attribute data and onsite SEO opportunities
  • Enrich and improve our product data across all categories to support SEO, onsite search and online conversion rate
  • Write SEO copy across all products and categories and manage tracked keywords in Brightedge for both UK and ROI
  • Support the range expansion merchandising team with SEO & content requirements to drive range expansion sales
  • Proactively collaborate with the Customer Service centre to ensure continuous improvement of all content that drives customers to call with the objective to reducing calls where possible
  • Update and maintain all site propositional messaging, ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Plan and prioritise brand page requests, ensuring that execution meets the minimum content requirements for SEO and category hierarchy
  • Support the SEO team with the planning and execution of landing pages associated to buying guides
  • Support the Digital trading team with creative vision for relevant landing pages to communicate newness in ranges, technology and exclusivity
  • Drive and maintain up to date and optimised imagery & videography across all listed products
  • Manage and maintain all post launch category checks, ensuring that the site is constantly up to date with the correct and optimised links
  • Support the retail media team to deliver the required content within the timescales agreed with our supplies
  • Where relevant, measure, analyse and report regularly on the performance of content and assets and use this insight to make continuous recommendations to improve
  • Action all content changes required in a timely and effective way clearly communicating to all relevant stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of relevant competitor activity within content, understanding how others deliver content and use this insight to drive and influence change/improvements where required
