Description:
THE POSITION
Utilise your generalist video production skills to make meaningful changes to peoples lives all around the world. Capture, create and utilise content to help those in emergencies, emerging countries and vulnerable situations to change both their world, and the perception of the Australian people.
Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, enabling us to support our mission of empowering Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable children and adults.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a self-motivated individual who enjoys collaborating with others and has excellent communication skills. You will be hard working, creative and have an eye for visual storytelling.
qualifications and experience:
- 2-3+ years professional video experience in a junior or other role as a content producer
- Experience of developing and producing original content for web
- Demonstrated ability to create factually based narratives, stories or segments
- Demonstrated experience in video production together with a variety of basic skills in writing and or directing, shooting and editing short form dramas and/or documentaries
- Proven high level of operational knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications
- Strong production management, trafficking and scheduling capabilities
- Tertiary qualifications in Film and TV, Digital Media or equivalent
