WHAT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

As the successful Digital Content Specialist, you will:

  • Plan, produce, edit and/or publish content on the AT website to inform users of what is happening at Auckland Transport
  • Work with our Digital Performance Manager and Product Owners to simplify our customers’ digital journeys and empower customers to access information and services without the need for assistance.
  • Create improved customer experiences through ensuring content is clear and helping keep our website up to date and accurate.
  • Be a key part of delivering the Digital Content Strategy that supports the ongoing health and functionality of the AT website.
  • Work with our Product Owners and UX/UI designers on creating copy and shaping new or updated customer journeys on the AT website and AT Mobile app.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience using Content Management Systems (with Umbraco experience preferred), along with accessibility, SEO and analytics tools and platforms. There is a technical aspect to this role that is key to success.
  • A track record of crafting well-written copy and creating well thought out and structured web pages and journeys using existing component libraries.
  • A proven ability to analyse and synthesise complex information, then consolidate and communicate it clearly and simply.
  • A superior communication skillset with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and strategic thinking.
  • The ability to be customer oriented while maintaining a delivery focus.
  • An agile and adaptable work approach.
  • A demonstrable team player attitude, with the dedication to continually improve processes to achieve high quality outcomes efficiently.
  • The ability to foster relationships and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure the best outcomes for our customers and website users.
  • An understanding of how SEO works and the purpose and implementation of the WCAG accessibility guidelines
