TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY
Starship’s Digital and Community Engagement Service has an opportunity for a Digital Coordinator with at least one year’s experience to design, execute and monitor digital marketing activities across Starship’s digital platforms. We welcome your expertise in Te Reo me ōna Tikanga and/or Pacific Peoples’ language(s) and culture(s) in support of effectively prioritising digital engagement with these audiences.
Grow your digital coordination expertise whilst contributing to Māori & Pacific health
equity. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisation, time management and admin
skills, proficiency using various digital marketing channels such as social media, email
marketing, SEO and web, and work effectively as part of a team. In addition, they will be
committed to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori and Pacific Peoples.
Starship’s Digital and Community Engagement service is continually transforming and is dedicated to upholding and actualising Te Tiriti o Waitangi and championing Māori and Pacific health equity. The service supports community, policy and advocacy, and digital engagement across the breadth of Starship, Te Toka Tumai’s services, as well as Safekids Aotearoa, with a focus on haumarutanga and Pae Ora of mokopuna and whānau.

NGA PŪKENGA MOTUHAKE | IMPORTANT SKILLS
- Knowledge preparing, implementing, monitoring quality digital content
- Effectively plans, coordinates initiatives according to agreed timelines and standards
- Website content creation and optimisation and creative design skills
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practice
- Full NZ Drivers License, as you will be required to travel/drive regularly
- Works cooperatively and collaboratively to achieve team objectives
- Knowledge of trends and behaviour change communications;
