ABOUT US:
Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is the national organisation representing, promoting and developing co-operative housing in Ireland. Since our foundation in 1973 we have provided over 8,300 homes through homeownership, shared ownership and social rented co-operatives. CHI currently manages over 5,300 homes across Ireland as well as providing a network of childcare services in our communities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum level 8 degree in any discipline.
- Relevant experience in digital marketing, communications, campaigns, or events.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with social media channels and strong IT skills (Microsoft Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Experience analysing and reporting on Google Analytics data.
- Permission to work in Ireland.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent writing skills
- Creativity in developing multimedia and social media content.
- Excellent attention to detail and high initiative.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A keen interest in housing and social issues.
- Relevant qualification in digital marketing, communications, event management, multimedia, or related fields.
- Experience managing a Google AdWords account.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is on the lookout for a dynamic Digital Engagement and Events Officer to join our Communications team. This is a new and exciting role where you’ll be instrumental in shaping and supporting the delivery of our digital media strategy while assisting in event coordination. You will develop engaging content, share the compelling story of social housing across a variety of digital platforms, and provide assistance in managing our events.
