Description:
WHAT SETS YOU APART (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, or related technical field with at least 12-15 years of experience. Masters with at least 10 years of prior relevant experience. (Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.)
- Active DoD Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Demonstrable knowledge of systems engineering and integration concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex system problems and develop innovative solutions
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree
- Engineering software language experience with Python, Java, R, or any other engineering relevant language
- Experience in a Modeling and Simulation, Design of Experiments, or statistical analysis of performance predictions
- Experience with employing MBSE approaches and tools (Cameo Systems Modeler preferred)
- Sharepoint and SQL Development
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the Digital Engineering Architecture for Leidos airborne programs including: integration of engineering tools and workflows; configuration management of data within the DE Ecosystem; identification of new tools and domains to integrate which provide value to the program.
- Interface with government personnel, facility technical and programmatic information exchange, and participate in Working Groups and IPTs
