Digital Factory - Data Architect - Wealth Asset Management & Financial Institutions
We are looking for a new colleague who will be part of our dynamic and rapidly growing digital team. As a senior technical analyst, you will manage the development process throughout the lifecycle of a product and support the ongoing management of the requirements from business stakeholders. You will perform a variety of complex technical activities in a wide and often unpredictable range of contexts. Our digital team is driving a large portfolio of projects helping our different Service Lines in EY to apply digital transformation through technologies like software robotics, analytics, artificial intelligence, and conversational interfaces.
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with a strong business profile in wealth asset management and financial institutions to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing data-driven solutions that align with business goals and priorities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or database design, with a strong business profile in wealth asset management and financial institutions
  • Solid understanding of data management concepts and principles, including data quality, data governance, data security, and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data solutions in a high volume, mission-critical environment, with a focus on operational excellence and process automation.
  • Experience working with modern data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Elasticsearch, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale data warehousing concepts, techniques, and tools.
  • Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, Embarcadero, or PowerDesigner.
  • Experience with data integration and exchange technologies such as APIs, data feeds, and batch processing.
  • Good knowledge of statistical analysis, data exploration, and data visualization tools such as R, Python, or Matlab.
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the data architecture for wealth asset management and financial institutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, identify data-related challenges, and propose solutions.
  • Create data models, database designs, and database schemas that enable data integration, data management, and efficient querying.
  • Develop data management strategies, including data governance, data quality, data security, and data lifecycle management.
  • Design and implement data integration and exchange processes, leveraging APIs, data feeds, and batch processing.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage documentation, and data mapping documents.
  • Lead data architecture reviews and participate in code and design reviews to ensure adherence to data architecture standards and principles.
  • Develop proof-of-concept prototypes, demonstrate new data technologies and solutions, and keep up-to-date with emerging trends in data management and analytics.
