Description:
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Media and/or Fundraising
- Previous experience working with digital marketing and fundraising tools considered an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills both in person and over the phone
- Openness to operate from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, 2SLGBTQ+ affirming and intersectional framework
- Willingness to learn and apply practical understanding of different elements of diversity, such as gender identity/expression, race/cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, disability, immigration and precarious status, family status, etc.
- Fluency in a second language, including ASL (American Sign Language) is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment and to prioritize tasks in a manner that meets staff needs and program objectives
- Proof of administered full-series Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccination prior to start date. If unable to be vaccinated for reasons relating to protected grounds under the Code, completed medical or religious exemption must be provided.
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening (Police Check) report

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Produce digital projects, materials, campaigns and initiatives to drive awareness, donations and donor loyalty and engagement
- Create and maintain CMHA Peel Dufferin’s editorial calendar, based on events, days, etc. and develop an event communication plan
- Proactively monitor and assess media, including social media, providing alerts and briefings as needed
- Collect and create online content with input from internal stakeholders
- Create digital material to promote the objectives of signature fundraising and marketing events including Ride Don’t Hide, Mental Health Week, and third-party events in support of CMHA and the cause of mental health
- Compile analytics on social media accounts to share
- Develop internal story development for internal newsletter, We Connect e.g. success stories.
- Assist with Website: review, evaluate and redesign where needed
- Assist with online marketing and setting up Google grants
