About the role
We are looking for a digital marketing apprentice to join our growing Clients and Markets team. This is a brand new role and will be an integral part of the team. It will be key for the digital marketing apprentice to work on different elements of digital marketing to support the team and the business’s strategic goals. Digital marketing is ever changing and we support the needed learning and development of the team in that ever changing environment. You will study towards a professional qualification and using tools such as website, email and social media. You will have the opportunity to be part of our UK campaigns, from planning to execution and will have the opportunity to shape how we position them externally.

JOB PURPOSE

The role of a digital marketer is to ensure we understand and execute our marketing activities in the correct manor, using the right platforms at the right time to suit our audience. The digital marketing apprentice will support the team in doing all elements of this, from creation of best practice documentation to social media post design and creation, there will never be two days quite the same. The role is needed to support a growing team in continuing to deliver the best service possible to the business. The digital marketing team is a passionate and ambitious team, looking to create new processes and keeping up to date with the latest trends.
We work in a hybrid model, so the role will be split between working from home and the Manchester office (2-3 days per week) supporting the need of the team. There may also be need for travel around our other UK offices for face to face meetings or to attend events.
We are looking for candidates with a strong desire to learn and progress, and we give increasing responsibility when an individual is ready rather than at pre-determined times.
About the Clients and Markets team
Our Clients and Markets team has recently restructured and grown to enhance our ability to support the business and our clients. Made up of 5 main areas; Communications, Digital and insights, Channel marketing, Client experience and bids and pursuits, the team provides an expert service covering brand, external communications, events and more.
The digital marketing team has key responsibilities in managing our website, email and social media presence. We work daily with the wider team to deliver the best service possible and provide clients and potential clients with the information they need at the right time in the right place. A forward-thinking and fast paced team, we are key to successful campaigns and provide not only the tools to execute, but the advice to do that in the best way.
Over the duration of this apprenticeship, the role will have the opportunity to learn more about all areas of the clients and markets team and develop their knowledge of the full marketing mix in practice.
