Description:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is an essential member of the Digital Marketing team through developing, executing, and maintaining igus’s digital marketing campaigns to reflect our Marketing and Brand Strategy. The Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on one specific unit of our business by distributing campaign and marketing materials across various channels, such as SEO, paid advertising, social media, email, and publication advertising. The Digital Marketing Specialist also works closely with multiple teams across the organization to strategize and execute content creation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ Years of Experience in Digital Marketing focused on driving revenue and improving user experience
  • Understands and can interpret website, marketing, and advertising analytics.
  • Full understanding of all social media platforms
  • Experience with Google Analytics preferred.
  • Experience with HubSpot and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) a plus.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
  • Must be able to multitask and handle multiple projects at a time
  • A meticulous eye for detail
  • Ability to adapt and solve problems
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for increasing the online traffic, web shop revenue, and web leads for a specific product line through marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Research, understand, and interpret the needs of buyer personas for a product line within a variety of industries
  • Deeply understand key industries and how your product line brings specific benefits to each
  • Conduct keyword research for both webpage SEO and PPC campaigns
  • Conduct competitive research and create SWOT analysis with product management teams
  • Align web page UX to the needs of the buying personas to convert traffic into online customers by working in conjunction with the UX specialist
  • Increase traffic to web pages by executing email and social media campaigns while assisting with publication and digital advertising campaigns
  • Systematically survey web visitors and online shoppers to gather actionable feedback
  • Regularly report on traffic, revenue, and lead performance to marketing and sales leadership
  • Compose and publish SEO-focused content on the Engineer’s Toolbox
  • Curate all assets on the Engineer’s Toolbox, YouTube channel, and SharePoint for your product
  • Create posts about your product line on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter
  • Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success
  • Create and maintain online listings across e-commerce platforms
  • Ensure that the brand message and style is consistent
