Our company is currently seeking a cutting edge, Digital Marketing Specialist to collaborate with our current Team and take us to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of marketing strategies across multiple channels with a strong emphasis on social media and email marketing. You will be working with our Marketing Manager on blog postings, web maintenance, trade show planning, and market analysis. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a willingness to continue learning in an ever-changing industry. Working as part of the Team is critical but you are also an independent thinker and not afraid of taking the initiative when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing roles, with a focus on social media, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in trade show planning and market analysis is an asset
  • Photography and Video editing is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Applications

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management:
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create engaging content (including text, image, and video) optimized for each social media platform.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with the audience.
  • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to drive optimal results.
  • Email Marketing:
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and retain customers.
  • Segment email lists based on audience characteristics and behaviors for targeted messaging.
  • Craft compelling email content, subject lines, and calls-to-action to drive open rates and click-through rates.
  • Monitor email campaign performance metrics and refine strategies to improve effectiveness.
  • Blog Posting:
  • Create and publish engaging blog content that aligns with the company’s brand and marketing objectives.
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize blog posts for search engines and attract organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to generate ideas for blog topics and content.
  • Web Maintenance:
  • Ensure the company website is up-to-date with relevant content, visuals, and functionality.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to implement website updates and improvements.
  • Monitor website performance, including load times and user experience, and address any issues promptly.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Gather and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, and buying behavior.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
