Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist GALP (m/w/d)
Department: Brand & Digital Marketing GALP
Location: Idstein, Flex (4 days Home Office / 1 day in Idstein)
Reports to: Group Brand & Digital Marketing Manager GALP

HARD SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of the digital organic channels and their KPIs
  • Proven experience with email marketing platform activation such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Skills in utilizing Google Analytics tools to report on website activity and provide recommendations
  • Strong project management/organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
  • Understanding of content management systems (CMS) a plus

SOFT SKILLS

  • Independent, creative self-starter with ability to work in a highly energetic, fastpaced environment to actively drive digital transformation
  • German Native Speaker & strong English language skills (verbal, written and presentation); additional languages advantageous
  • 2+ years of experience gained across relevant digital marketing disciplines

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely within the marketing team to develop and implement a part of the digital marketing activities in support of business objectives. Responsible for the German & Alpine region (GALP), in this executional role, you will apply your understanding of the digital marketing mix to create solutions - from development, launch, measurement to optimization - that drive brand and product awareness, purchase intent and loyalty. The Digital Marketing Specialist sits within the local brand & digital marketing team. This role will execute across owned digital touchpoints (mainly homepage & CRM) and presents an opportunity to work and make an impact across the digital ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the day-to-day operation of the digital marketing presence of the tools brands in the region, with a particular focus on eCRM and brand websites
  • Maintain an integrated marketing and content calendar to ensure global brand alignment across owned digital channels
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to create, update, and maintain various digital properties such as websites, landing pages, and microsites in support of digital marketing campaigns
  • Deliver a robust email (eCRM) activation across focus brands, engaging the user database
  • Track digital organic marketing performance for brand awareness, conversion and loyalty to make recommendations to improve established KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, product marketing, channel marketing, IT support and customer service to expand understanding of digital activity
