As the Digital Media buyer, you will see the direct impact of everything you do as it relates to our success and growth. You’re a motivated, self-directed, organized soul and if you get stuck, you find a solution including using your team to solve it together. We’re in the business of selling cars so there’s always alot going on and it’s a pretty fast-paced place. We like to be successful so make sure that hard work and results are recognized and rewarded.
This position is not only responsible for purchasing paid traffic from a variety of sources including native, display, and search, but also the analysis and reporting of the subsequent results. The selected candidate will set-up, manage and optimize effective in-house campaigns of a variety of traffic and lead gen ad types, as well as various bidding methods. You will be the paid advertising expert and work with our dealerships and the Marketing team to make sure we are moving the most metal!

You are responsible for:

  • Account optimization, performance, and management for various accounts by checking within each platform; keywords, ad copy, analytics, and implementing any new changes and budget management suggestions
  • Assist in preparing media buying strategies and plans in collaboration with the Marketing Director that can be clearly articulated to the team and clients with definable goals
  • Account set up, structure and flighting new ads, within all advertising platforms
  • Achieving new certifications and maintaining current certifications within Google Ads, Google Analytics and Facebook
  • Collaborate with our creative teams to enhance campaign assets as needed
  • Monitoring current campaigns to ensure that the adverts run accurately so the desired media message is seen by consumers
  • Keeping up to date with industry research figures, including distribution figures and audience figures

Your capabilities:

  • Experience buying traffic online as well as preparing (Google Ads certification, Advanced Google Analytics certification, and Facebook Blueprint)
  • Experience buying lead gen campaigns with knowledge of how lead generation funnels work
  • Ability to use Google suite of products as well as full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use Google Ads for Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • We’d prefer if you have 1-3 years of doing this kind of work in a similar setting
  • You’re adaptable and a quick learner, who can get stuff done yourself and use other team members proactively when you need help
  • You’re organized and a stickler for details and can create relevant and accurate copy
  • You can work on your own and don’t need to be hand-held through your daily tasks
  • You’re comfortable talking to people and know how to discuss data and results
  • You have an ability to juggle a whole bunch of jobs at once and can sort out what is a priority and what is not
  • Aren’t afraid of reports for ad spend pacing and result tracking
  • You are up to date with the latest digital advertising trends and best practices in internet marketing
