We are privileged to operate in 52 radio stations (and growing) broadcasting across 70+ transmitters located in three Provinces and the Northwest Territories. We are also connected to our communities with 39 local community websites.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and results-driven individual to join our growing Digital Team at Vista. You can expertly and seamlessly balance a variety of tasks and requirements of sales, operations, and account management. A proven track record in digital sales, including new business development, makes you the ideal candidate to take on a new challenge and help us grow our client base in Southern Ontario.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3 years in digital media sales experience.
  • Expertise in launching and managing digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads, social media platforms like Meta, and programmatic digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.
  • Ability to analyze data and make optimization decisions.
  • Attention to detail and diligence in task execution.
  • Strong organizational, written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, able to take direction and coaching from leaders and colleagues.
  • A fully insured personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify potential new clients, then determine a strategy for connecting and closing opportunities with local and regional businesses in your assigned territory.
  • Create and present customized digital marketing solutions to clients, demonstrating how our digital products and services can meet their needs and drive business growth.
  • Work proactively and in collaboration with the digital team and Account Executives to ensure that digital campaigns are executed effectively and meet the client expectations.
  • Take a proactive approach to ensuring successful digital campaign delivery through planning, account management and excellent customer service.
  • Stay informed on relevant media and advertising trends to bring to clients.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, campaign effectiveness, and optimize sales strategies.
  • Provide support to clients, both yours and in support of Vista’s overall digital sales, addressing issues or concerns to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Attend and actively participate in company meetings, training, peer support and other company wide initiatives.
  • This role requires adaptability and the ability to handle various tasks. Responsibilities may extend beyond those outlined here, encompassing other duties as assigned.
