Job Title: Digital Media Specialist
Department: E-commerce

Job Description

Digital Media Specialist is responsible for paid media activities from start to finish, including strategy, implementation, optimization and reporting. The person acts as one of the internal subject matter expert for the digital advertising practice and must have proven expertise in display, paid social, paid search, video ads and experience with all common martech platforms (DV360, Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Business Manager, etc.).

  • Build full funnel digital media plans based on target audience and campaign objectives
  • Manage in-platform campaigns
  • Owner of the paid search channel
  • Act as responsible party in delivering on qualified traffic to the website, CPA (cost per booking), conversions, CTR, CPM, CPC for paid search, display advertising, video ads and paid social
  • Maintain relationships with external media vendors
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and opportunities for improvement on a regular basis
  • Work with the Marketing and Commercial teams to drive performance, support emerging business needs and optimize strategy, messaging and formats for digital channels
  • Test new digital media products and be pro-active in seeking BETA accesses from our partners (Google, Meta, TikTok, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation, regularly sharing knowledge with the Marketing and E-Commerce team
  • Integrate strategies and recommendations with other active marketing channels such as email marketing and organic social media
  • Stay current with new advances in search engine marketing, competitive landscape and keyword research

Qualifications & Skills

  • University degree in marketing or communications or E-commerce or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in digital media
  • Experience in digital marketing or E-Commerce
  • Very good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good knowledge with advanced Google Analytics (GA4), Meta, DV360 and Google Campaign Manager
  • Up to date and knowledgeable on SEM best practices
  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications (asset)
  • Knowledge of Jira and Google Tag Manager (asset)
  • Fully bilingual, both oral and written in English and French
  • Demonstrate initiative and autonomy
  • Demonstrate judgment, professionalism and act in a confidential manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal/analytical skills
  • Very developed organizational skills and ability to word under pressure
  • Ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics
  • Proficient in grammar, spelling and punctuation in English and French
  • Great ability to work in a team and a strong team player
  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast working environment
