RECRUITMENT FRAUD

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

JOB PURPOSE

Packaging is a critical function within Unilever and our sustainability vision cannot be achieved without packaging innovation and technology that will drive growth and, at the same time, halve our environmental impact. We employ more than 700 Packaging professionals across our Packaging organisation.
The Digital Modelling Technical Lead is a member of the One R&D Packaging Centre and reports to the Digital Modelling Lead. The purpose of the Technical Lead is to drive technical excellence within Unilever’s simulation and modelling community. They will actively seek out improved modelling techniques, ensuring best practices are understood and adopted by model developers.
The Technical Lead will be personally responsible for the development of our most challenging models, while offering guidance and support to team members who are less seasoned.
This is a cross Business Group role and as such there will be exposure across all of Unilever’s Business Groups/Categories as well as our Digital R&D and IT Innovation partners. There is the potential, based on the candidates’ success in the role, for exposure at senior levels in the Packaging organisation.
