Job Description
As Digital Performance Manager, Publishing you will be responsible for the strategy, implementation and management of high impact digital performance campaigns that grow subscription revenue, deliver exceptional engagement and strengthen Nine’s publishing brands.
Day to day you will:
- Develop the digital roadmap and drive the quarterly planning activities for Publishing
- Define and implement audience strategies that support brand and commercial objectives using insights from across the business
- End-to-end management of digital performance campaigns
- Setup, manage and maintain performance dashboards and drive the ongoing communication of reporting
- Manage budget and maintain all relevant financial reporting and spreadsheets including forecasting, and ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.
- Lead the relationship with key platform partners
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders including the marketing leads, the wider Subscriptions & Marketing team, data, technology and insights teams
- Maintain a data-driven approach through the delivery of an experimentation roadmap that leverages insights and platform capabilities to test and optimise.
- Own the management and ongoing optimisation of The Australian Financial Review, ensuring data, insights and reporting are effective in supporting the wider team in their strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
What we would like to see:
- Demonstrated experience in a full-funnel digital marketing role with experience developing and executing on digital marketing strategy that delivers on commercial objectives
- Strong understanding of the digital customer journey, including performance metrics, channels, audience building and best practice
- Excellent knowledge of online marketing tools inc. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Campaign Manager and Datorama.
- Solid understanding of best practices across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, SA360, DV360, YouTube.
- Analytical and a data-driven mindset with an ability to connect data points to form actionable strategic insights
- Experience working directly with audio providers such as: Spotify, LiSTNR, ARN and Acast is highly desirable (but not mandatory)
- Experience with CRM & marketing automation highly desirable (but not mandatory)
