Our client, a leading global IT service provider,is recruiting for a Digital Power Service Engineer to join their business in
Ireland .

REQUIREMENTS:

  • With a science or engineering education background, majoring in electricity, energy or mechanical engineering, etc.
  • Have technical and service working experience and channel management experience
  • Knowledgeable or working experience in the solar PV market/storage market is preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and internally with people from different countries and cultures
  • Ability to have insight into problems
  • Project operation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales testing support and hold workshops on technical issues with the customers or partners
  • Support of the sales and solution team
  • Logging of issues reported by the customers
  • Training/guidance of the customers before, during, and after the construction process using kick-off meetings, hardware and software training, and the acceptance test
  • Support customers during commissioning, technically check the inverter installation, and make necessary corrections
  • You are the interface between the customers and the R&D team to resolve any issue
  • Responsible for second and third-line support
  • Responsible for technical support of customers or their partners, independently or with a technical support team
  • On-site support in case of major or critical issues that cannot be resolved by the customer or local subcontractor
  • Responsible for monitoring the quality of the on-site operation, providing quality analyses and improvement processes
