By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain insight and build competence by working on a broad set of projects across energy value chains (oil and gas and renewables).
  • Understand «what matters to the business» and run medium to large digital projects to drive and implement change in a complex business environment.
  • Take a holistic view of the company and solve key business issues utilising various teams’ technological and business knowledge.
  • Solve business issues and provide actionable recommendations leveraging technological know-how and business sense.
  • Ensure that deliveries from your projects are in line with corporate priorities and provide required business outcome.
  • Enable innovation and continuous improvement within the scope of your projects.
  • Be hands-on and empower the people delivering on your project to make decisions.
  • Contribute to develop the project management discipline for digital projects.

You will be part of a large community of IT specialists and contribute in reaching Equinor’s research and development ambitions. Being a part of Facility and operations IT, you will be able to work on a widespread of tasks directly related to Equinor’s efficiency improvement agenda. Moving onwards, as a large portion of the company’s improvement potential is expected to be released within the Facility areas, not least in the context of Industry 4.0, we are and will continue to be playing an important role in Equinor’s improvement agenda. Consequently, FOS IT will face more complex and challenging tasks, a higher activity level and higher innovation pace going onwards.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management/Computer Science or similar. Relevant working experience may compensate for lack of education.
  • 5+ years proven record of managing medium to large digital projects driving and implementing change.
  • Energy sector experience would be beneficial.
  • An “operational” project leader mindset with the ability to deliver under high/demanding workloads.
  • Ability to deliver high quality results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong networking and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, Norwegian would be advantageous.
