POSITION CHARACTERISTICS

We can offer this position as part time job in case of your interest.

As far as IT is concerned, you can work from any Vodafone location: Brno, Ostrava, Meziboří, Chrudim but of course anywhere in the Czech Republic.

  • Own, lead, and drive QA experts/specialists sitting across squad/scrums/projects. Create, lead, manage, and mentor a practice of relevant experts/specialists ensuring the development and maintenance of highly skilled and motivated chapter members.

WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DO WE EXPECT?

  • Knowledge of Agile ceremonies, tools, and artefacts e.g. retrospectives, demos, increment planning, information radiators
  • Experience of Test Automation
  • MS Office: advanced
  • English: advanced
  • Total years of experience: 5+
  • Similar position years of experience: 3+
  • University (preferred)
  • Knowledge of both the current Telecommunications and digital services market and emerging business and technology trends

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, motivate and develop a team of Quality Assurance professionals in chapter, ensure people have clear priorities and direction. Influence, develop and motivate people and change behaviour. Inspire and create the right working climate.
  • Define the professional standards/work methodology in the chapter (e.g. testing methodology and standards). Act with combination of applied and theoretical knowledge of concepts and principles within a specialised field.
  • Develop the abilities and skills of the members of the chapter, increasing their productivity in the delivery of value for clients.
  • Define processes of interaction and transfer of knowledge among the members of the chapter. Professionally support the members of the chapter.
  • Participate as an expert, solving complex problems related to his/her expertise in and ad-hoc basis with other teams of the tribe. Within diversified company procedures and standards and partly defined instructions analyse and interpret differing situations in order to develop methods, new procedures and approaches to solve problems. Improve existing procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
