Requirements of a Digital Reporter - Legal Proceedings:
- Tech Enthusiast: Comfortable with computers and software.
- Quick Typist: Typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
- ️ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication.
- Notary: Ability to obtain a state Notary Commission as applicable (we’ll assist)
- AAERT Certification Required in some states; If not already AAERT Certified, we will provide training and opportunity for certification
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities of a Digital Reporter - Legal Proceedings:
- ️ Digital Recording: Capture spoken testimony during legal proceedings.
- Tech Proficiency: Operate computer audio equipment after our training program.
- Documentation: Create annotations and maintain speaker identifications.
