Description:

KEY COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years Social Media experience running ads off Facebook Business Manager and other social/digital platforms;
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with at least 3 years’ experience (preferably in an agency environment).

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in Adobe Products (Creative Cloud), Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and Getty/ Shutterstock photo library;
  • Ability to work on video editing software an advantage;
  • Ability to work on all internal PGP platforms ie. Flip HTML, Alchemy, Lucid Press, Website CMS, Blog, etc;
  • Proficient in MS Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, HootSuite, Google Analytics.

Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To effectively manage the Cape Region’s office Facebook pages in order to build brand equity, drive user engagement and to generate leads. To maintain a positive online reputation via the community management of the Cape region’s social media pages and to ensure the luxury status of the brand is upheld through excellent client service, as well as through relevant collateral and other marketing deliverables.

SCOPE OF ROLE

This is a branch-based position in the Atlantic Seaboard Office with a dotted reporting line to the Regional Digital Marketing Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the Pam Golding Property Group’s Social Media strategy and the role that the Offices’ Facebook page plays in the delivery of this;
  • Responsible for the delivery of hyper-local Facebook on-page content and creation of content for off-page paid campaigns for Agent profiling, Suburb profiling and Seller and Buyer lead generation for the Offices;
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with their social strategy;
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders through a pragmatic style of delivery i.e. Office Manager, Admins, Agents, Head Office;
  • Play an active role in supporting the Offices’ Agents;
  • To understand and promote brand benefits in all marketing initiatives;
  • Support the Office’s operational requirements through the digital channels;
  • Use the Standard Operating Procedure guidelines supplied by the National Social Media team to assist in the management of the Cape Region’s Offices’ digital platforms to:
  • Maintain awareness and visibility of the Pam Golding Properties brand in the farming areas;
  • Profiling the Agents as leaders in their respective communities;
  • Promoting the lifestyle and appeal of the suburbs in the Offices’ farming areas, for buyer lead generation;
  • Showcase properties that have recently been Price Reduced or Recently Sold.
  • Use the creative digital ad templates supplied on Marq and tweak them for local relevance, in order to run hyper-local campaigns for the Offices;
  • Assist in coordination of the internal approval process within the Offices for digital campaigns;
  • Use the audiences supplied by the Digital Marketing Manager to target and re-market effectively. Use geo-targeting, interest-based targeting and custom audiences where appropriate;
  • Run Development campaigns as required by the Office;
  • Use the guidelines provided by the National Social Media team to create a hyper-local content calendar and effectively manage on-page content;
  • Community management of the Offices Facebook (and other social platforms) page and escalation to Head Office as required;
  • Ensuring all Social Media content and ads align to Brand CI and tonality;
  • Keep abreast of local competitor activity in the social media space and make recommendations where necessary;
  • Manage branch office/ agent briefs through Click up our project management tool. This will involve inter alia taking various briefs, briefing them into studio project managing debriefs and client expectations and delivering the completed job within the required deadline. A thorough working knowledge of the various operational systems (Alchemy, Maq and Yenza) will be required to meet the demands of the business;
  • Manage regional submissions for digital publications;
  • Write internal briefs;
  • Source a variety of quotes from external vendors including publications, media agencies etc for advertising and event purposes;
  • Promote the use of internal systems, such as Alchemy and Marq in an effort to increase brand consistency, provide efficient solutions to stakeholders and improve marketing output;
  • Participates in internal incentives and local events as and when necessary;
  • Proactively keep updated with local events and area developments, to aid in the development of content creation as well as CSI initiatives that may benefit the community;
  • Update agent images on the online platforms via the Alchemy site;
  • Conceptualize, design and implement regional office digital collateral;
  • Be proficient in Digital design principles (sizes, formats etc) across multiple channels e.g. Facebook, Instagram, whatsapp and Linked-in;
  • Have proven experience with regards to social video content (filming, sourcing footage, editing, titling);
  • Be proactive by keeping on the pulse of the latest creative ideas and treatments and recommend to the business accordingly.
