Join the Sales Team responsible for the upper mid-market in Austria and help businesses achieve their digital transformation goals by matching customer challenges with Microsoft Data & AI solutions.

As an Azure Data & AI Sales Specialist, you will lead a virtual team of technical and partner resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly Data & AI revenue and usage/consumption targets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in German and English is essential
- Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND experience in years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven experience & understanding of technology-related sales or account management experience.
ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Executive Presence. Experience and expertise in selling to senior business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
- Data & AI Platform. Understanding of Microsoft Azure Data & AI products. The position requires the ability to articulate and demonstrate the business value of Microsoft’s solutions and have a firm understanding of Microsoft’s strategies and products relative to major Microsoft competitors.
- Account Management. Planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, need analysis, partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management, large dollar licensing and deal negotiation
Responsibilities:
- Be a trusted advisor and a Data & AI subject matter expert with core capability and expertise in Data Modernization, Analytics, and AI.
- Work with customers to leverage data to help them achieve their business priorities and help guide customer’s journey through Analytics-led Azure Data transformation.
- Engage in conversations with customers to introduce how other workloads could enable digital transformation areas that are aligned with the customer’s industry.
- Collaborate with extended sales team, partners, and Go to Market to conduct business analysis and pursue high-potential customers.
- Execute a proper Territory Planning with a strong Seller to Partner Seller Alignment.
- Develop an understanding of external stakeholders’ mapping, including who the decision makers and influencers are.
- Implement strategies to help accelerate the closing of deals in collaboration with other team members and partners.
