Responsibilities:

THE ROLE & CANDIDATE:

The Digital Application Specialist is crucial in implementing, maintaining, and optimising software applications to streamline business processes and enhance our employees’ digital experiences. This role involves close collaboration with the Digital Delivery Lead and IT Manager to align digital Business, and IT strategies and meet the organisation’s digital transformation objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Digital Application Specialist are outlined as follows:

  • Act as the primary driver for migrating existing digital assets and applications to cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal deployment of cloud technologies.
  • Spearhead the initiative to transform paper-based processes into digital formats, enhancing accessibility and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Digital Delivery Lead, IT Manager, and departmental teams to prioritise digitisation projects and cloud adoption strategies.
  • Monitor and maintain the operational performance of digital applications, including Autodesk Construction Cloud platform, BIM 360 platform, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Delivery Lead, IT Manager, and departmental digital working groups to identify and develop necessary applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in coordination with IT and development teams, ensuring high availability and performance of all digital applications.
  • Manage the deployment of new applications, overseeing integration, user training, and rollout strategies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for application configurations, processes, and protocols.
  • Provide end-user support and training, ensuring effective use of digital application platforms.
  • Assess and recommend enhancements to existing applications to boost efficiency and functionality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in software and digital technologies to propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
