Description:

DIGITAL SYSTEMS MANAGER

The Digital Systems Manager for Caterfood Buying Group (CFBG), you will lead and be responsible for along with a digital business analyst the successful delivery of new CFBG ecommerce Shops, OPRI, Mobile Apps and implementation of new features, software releases and integrations with other internal or 3rd party systems as part of our CFBG e-commerce eco system.
This role will manage the relationship and liaise with the individual CFBG business(s) to ensure the timely and smooth implementation of ecommerce Shops, OPRI, Mobile Apps. With responsibility for managing a pipeline of work including projects and small changes, negotiating priorities and providing guidance on all technical aspects of the CFBG ecommerce ecosystem.
We are looking for someone who possesses knowledge of our existing Bidfood IT systems including Bidfood Direct, Qnetex and / or Reflex, with ideally experience to be able to translate business / user requirements into digital ecommerce solutions.
You will also ideally possess knowledge of our business, master data and operational processes, with strong analytical, data analysis, logical problem solving, project coordination, relationship management and organisational skills.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to lead and support engagement with key stakeholders across multiple CFBG businesses to determine priorities for new features, support and manage the software development process, demonstrate new functionality to users, develop test plans, create test cases / scenarios, perform functional / non-functional testing and support UAT, finally the transition into support.
The successful candidate should be energetic, hardworking and thrive in a collaborative environment. Possess an attention to detail with excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with strong interpersonal, organisational skills, written, and oral communication skills. Be highly self-motivated and tenacious, able to pro-actively work on multiple projects / changes with the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks.
This is an important role and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to support business change and the way customers trade across the CFBG businesses through the successful delivery of ecommerce platforms.
