THE OPPORTUNITY
Beca’s suite of digital low-code tools underpin many of our largest projects and programs across the business. Our specialists develop both standardized tools for project management – such as RFI tracking and financial reporting to shutdown management systems – and bespoke applications for individual clients. Our strength lies in our close collaboration between developers, engineers, and managers, and our ability to make fine adjustments for the specific client or project.
Based in Jakarta, we are looking for a developer who can learn and work within Beca’s digital toolkit to support projects in Indonesia and beyond, this role will be fixed term role. This person will be key to connect our team members and clients in the region with our global development community, predominantly based in New Zealand. This would involve identifying and scoping needs for digital tools in your own office, for sharing with offshore developers, as well as providing support for development in other countries.

Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop functionality and modules within Beca’s suite of digital tools.
- Work with clients and team members to implement newly developed systems and encourage uptake.
- Identify needs or opportunities to add value through digital development, and where needed, scope requirements for offshore development.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience developing digital systems, ideally for use by other parties.
- Experience with low-code applications, preferably QuickBase or Power Platform.
- Good level of English skills for both written and conversation, able to communicate efficiently with fluent English-speaking teams.
- Proficient in MS suite of Apps – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc. Able to work in a team as team player with positive attitude.
- Strong English report writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a project-based consulting environment
