Description:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in handling NPI projects, with a focus on process optimization and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of the interplay between various functions, including NPI, Marketing, and International Markets.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and process improvement, with an ability to identify and implement efficiency-enhancing solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Experience in establishing and supervising performance metrics and KPIs related to NPI initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives that involve multiple partners and complex process integrations across different regions.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL / LEADERSHIP SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Understanding of E2E NPI processes and the impact of process optimization on current ways of working.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) drive to make sustained difference through standard process capability benchmarking and development.
  • Experience in using data analytics and insights to drive process improvements and advise decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement new digital capabilities that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a preference for agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the OKRs framework and its application in driving alignment and performance.
  • Analytical skills, logical process-driven thinking with practical outlook leading to pragmatic proposals and decision making.
  • Able to prioritize and deliver multiple concurrent workstreams involving multiple partners across different regions and markets.
  • A clear understanding of the challenges that can arise in cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Strong influencing and facilitation skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach the team and peers – and engage at senior levels.
  • Great command of English (written and spoken). Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the target markets is a plus.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Project Management, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • International professional experience is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

WHAT ARE THE KEY OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTATIONS FROM THIS ROLE?

As a key member of the Global NPI Center of Excellence (CoE), the NPI Digital Transformation Manager will drive and support digital transformation initiatives across the NPI organization. This role will focus on the implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of tools, processes, and capabilities, while facilitating change management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful outcomes. The NPI Digital Transformation Manager will work closely with the NPI Digital Capability Manager and other members of the CoE to align transformation efforts with the overall strategy and objectives of the NPI organization.

WHAT IS THE DIRECT IMPACT OF THIS ROLE ON THE TEAM OR ORGANIZATION?

This role will have a tangible impact on the organization by leading initiatives that improve efficiency, encourage collaboration, and cultivate innovation. By working closely with various functional teams, this role will contribute to the successful implementation and adoption of new tools, optimized processes, and enhanced capabilities. As a result, the NPI organization will experience improved performance, increased productivity, and greater flexibility in addressing market demands and customer needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Collaborate with NPI CoE members to develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with the organization’s overall objectives and goals.
  • Work closely with the NPI Digital Capability Manager to identify, prioritize, and implement digital transformation projects that enhance NPI and cross-functional processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of new digital functionalities, improvements, and integrations, in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Marketing, Finance, and DBS.
  • Support the reinforcement of standard NPI ways of working through digitalization and automation, ensuring alignment with category-specific and local requirements.
  • Drive use of agile methodologies and standard processes to ensure efficient and effective execution of digital transformation initiatives.
  • Identify and assess emerging technologies, tools, and trends that could benefit the NPI organization and its cross-functional partners and provide recommendations for adoption and implementation.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by encouraging experimentation, piloting new ideas, and sharing success stories and lessons learned across the organization.
  • Support relationships with external partners, such as technology vendors, consultants, and industry associations, to stay informed about standard processes and leverage external expertise when needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and management strategies to ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of NPI-related data assets.
  • Manage partner expectations, fostering alignment, and facilitating effective communication across the NPI community and key partners globally.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training materials, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to build digital capabilities and drive adoption of new tools and processes within the NPI organization and cross-functional teams.
  • Support change management efforts, including the creation and execution of communication plans, to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of digital initiatives.
  • Act as a champion for digital transformation and change management, promoting the benefits of digital initiatives and fostering buy-in and engagement across the organization.
  • Supervise and report on the progress and impact of transformation projects, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
