The role of Data Product Manager will be fundamental in helping us deliver on this vision.
As the Digital Transformation Manager , you will play a key role in a strategic digital transformation initiative which will drive data and analytics transparency and seamless integration across strategic domains. The programme will define the strategy, approach, and processes by which the organisation acquires, stores, curates, manages, and analyses data, setting standards for data and analytics quality and security. Working within the Data Transformation team, you will help to shape the way we use our data and analytics globally, foster an evidence-driven culture of decision-making, and develop the capability for outstanding use and application of data and analytics at Dyson.
In order to provide integrated shared data and analytics services and enable accurate agile insights to decision-makers, a critical part of the role will involve building meaningful relations and partnerships across global markets and functions. As a Data Product Manager, you will create and own the vision for your initiative within the data transformation programme, driving this vision to data engineers, developers and analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building and contributing to a high-performing digital transformation team that supports the Connected objectives.
  • Responsible for the data transformation initiative roadmap, building and enhancing models/platforms ahead of the business demand.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the business stakeholders understand the value of our connected data and how it can benefit both Dyson and Owners
  • Responsible for Stakeholder management, facilitating data conversations & requirements between stakeholders and consumers of our data - including executives, engineers, analysts, product team & Dyson data consumers
  • Responsible for Identifying gaps in data user requirements & ensuring that these are assessed and managed
  • Ownership of the backlog and prioritisation into the initiative scrum team for your data transformation initiative
  • Accountable for providing concise reporting & communication for your initiative roadmap
  • Responsible for enhancing the quality of evidence-driven insight from the Connected data. This will include developments to support go to market strategies, new product launches and general health of our owner base within the categories and support data driven acquisition strategies.
  • Responsible for the adoption of the services built and delivered for the stakeholders (RDD, NPI, Markets, Channels) and that they get used by these groups.
  • Responsible for the data governance, working with Privacy and Legal to get the appropriate PIA/LIAs before any data sets are combined/activated.
