ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Liaise with Regional, Area and End-market teams and global change programmes as appropriate to support the delivery of business results .
• Work with Digital Treasury and Banking Manager to identify and promote opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of cash and banking and help facilitate the necessary change process, within respective areas of expertise .
• Assist with delivery of efficient and effective banking and service solutions across regions and globally through regular RFPs, including payables (P2P) and receivables (O2C) .
• Assist any initiative that comes following management input to the treasury/banking technology strategy within the context of the prevailing technology, Treasury needs and banking infrastructure disaster recovery.
• Identify and raise issues with potential significant business impact in respect of the Group, Regional, Operations or End Markets.
• Support in the continual development of the Treasury Operating Model in terms of centralising treasury activity, expanding the scope of services provided to End-markets, enhancing the quality of services provided to End-markets and driving operational efficiency of Treasury processes.

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL / LEADERSHIP SKILLS REQUIRED

University degree
Excellent English (spoken and written)
Excellent analytical skills
Acknowledged and proven leadership skills, specifically in managing intra-departmental and intra-subsidiary relations
Acknowledged and proven oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

As part of the Global Treasury Operations Team, the role holder is responsible for:-

• Assisting in the delivery of the pre-existing digital treasury and banking strategy in collaboration with BAT’s global transformation programme
• Provide input and assist in developing the digital treasury and banking strategy
• Assist in the global procurement process to procure digital treasury and banking services for implementation in 2024 and beyond
• Aid migration of the management of digital treasury & banking services to GBS
