The Revenue Manager is responsible for the provision of analysis, insights, pricing, yield management, forecasting and policy decisions to assist senior management and sales staff to optimise revenue, specifically for SWM’s Digital commercial products including Converged campaigns. Key focus includes providing business intelligence around current platforms, systems and practices to maximise inventory and yield. As well as providing timely, insightful and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Pricing– determine and formulate pricing strategy, monitor demand and supply across both Direct and Non-Guaranteed (Programmatic) supply, specifically for SWM Commercial Digital assets and from time-to-time other SWM assets.
  • Developing Sales Budgets – Work closely with Finance, Digital Sales Director, Head of Revenue Management, National Sales Director and Head of Advanced Audiences, in developing Digital Sales office budgets.
  • Yield Management - Driving best practice across the SWM business on yield and inventory management including utilisation of best-in-class platforms, systems, and processes, in particular reporting that provides business intelligence and insights into how we manage inventory and maximise yield.
  • Programmatic – work closely with the programmatic team and tech partners to optimise non-guaranteed yield and revenue.
  • Inventory Optimisation - Identifying revenue opportunities and maximising current opportunities. Identifying underperforming assets across the eco-system and providing insights and potential solutions to increase revenue.
  • Reporting – provide accurate, insightful, up-to-date reports. Ensure best in class reporting practices, procedures and training documentation.
  • Forecasting/Thought Leadership - monitor, report and interpret sales revenue, demand, and forecast information to support the development of appropriate sales strategies and policies. Assess performance versus target objectives, - provide strategic advice and insight to Sales Management in identifying revenue opportunities for SWM.
  • Policy and Procedures – adhere to sales policy and procedures as set by Senior Executives. Assist in the setting and implementing of policy where required.
  • Market Understanding - possess a broad up-to-date knowledge of economic conditions, both locally and globally, that may impact Seven’s revenue management.
  • People – manage the workload of the Revenue Management team direct reports and manage the appropriate resourcing of the team. Assist the Digital Sales Director, Director of Trading and Sales Operations and Head of Revenue Management to drive a culture of customer first service, flexibility, and result outcomes.
  • Revenue solutions – work closely with Digital Leadership team, Head of Advanced Audiences and broader revenue management team to find business solutions that maximise revenue and yield outcomes across all SWM assets.
  • Subject Matter expert on Yield and Inventory Management Digital– Driving best practice across the SWM business on yield and inventory management including utilization of best in class platforms. Reporting, that provides business intelligence and insights into how we manage inventory and maximise yield.
