Description:

Program/Department Description and responsibilities
For the Security Department within the client’s organisation, we are seeking for a Security Program Manager.
The program manager will lead the newly set up “security boost” program. This program will address various topics such as security compliance (ISO27K/NIS2), IAM (process, RBAC, IAG tool), Active Directory security, mainframe security, BCP, and secure development.
The program manager will have to coordinate and steer the project managers, and also assume the PM role for some of these projects.
The program will require involvement of multiple stakeholders in the organization and imply alignment with domains outside of the security department itself. It is important to demonstrate progress and ensure that the deliverables are regularly produced.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
Deliver the security strategy through the security program.
Ensure well executed people management within different teams.
Define timeline and mile stones of the projects.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to the team members within different project groups.
Managing the risks and issues related to the delivery.
Clarify high-level scope and the technical synergies between the different sub-projects.
Ensuring the compliance to standards and best practices across all projects.
Manage a team of internal staff and/or external contractors.
Be proactive in proposing technical solutions and innovations.
Reporting progress, issues, risks etc. to the steering committee.
Install a process of « project review » to make sure the continuous qualitative delivery is assured from the “lessons learned”.
Manage budgets.

Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks.
Deploy and develop an active and consistent communication with different stakeholders.
Conflict management (tech and non-tech).
Help define the roles and responsibilities of the project teams and other stakeholders.
Non-Technical profile requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.

Methodology/Certification requirements
Master’s degree in computer science OR equivalent through experience.
+10 years experience in Program/Project Management in the IT Sector
Proven track record of driving big IT or security programs (over 1MEUR) in companies over 1000 employees
Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO27K, NIST)
Knowledge of BCP principles
Methodology/Certification requirements
Security related certification are a strong plus
Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent
Language proficiencies
Fluent in Dutch & French
Good notion of EN
