- Two (2) years’ experience in fine dining.
- Dining Room Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Executive Chef, the Dining Room Supervisor oversees all aspects of the dining room operation, including staff scheduling, training, setup, service, breakdown, cleanliness, equipment, furnishings, and ordering of service-related food and service supplies for dining and special events. The Dining room Supervisor coordinates with kitchen staff to maintain smooth, efficient, and pleasant service at all times. Oversees the assignment of the setup of coffee breaks and hors d’oeuvres for large groups.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a customer focused attitude at all times while managing the food distribution, balancing the serving responsibilities among the food servers.
- Ensure visibility during meal times by seating and greeting residents, addressing any concerns, and ensuring that their needs have been met.
- Prepares schedules and assigns tasks to wait staff, including assigning tables and closing duties.
- Ensure wait staff meets company standards including appearance and dress attire, customer service standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Trains wait staff on all operating procedures and menu education.
- Ensures efficient operating within budgeted guidelines.
- Promotes customer engagement activities and interacts with residents during meal times to monitor resident satisfaction or concerns about food service and develops plans to address as appropriate.
- Facilitate highest quality and service practices in all Food and Beverage sanitation standards and service to the residents in the dining room.
- Monitors and evaluates food quality for presentation, temperature, and serving portion size. Communicates with food kitchen personnel for adjustments and shares resident feedback.
- Monitors and evaluates table service adequacy for timing, etiquette and thoroughness; provides service hospitality training and adjustments as appropriate.
- Monitors and adjusts residents accounts for meal and charge accuracy.
- Ensure floor charts and tables are set up correctly.
- Assists servers as needed with table service.
- Maintains Toast POS System by adding menu items, adding/deleting employees to Toast system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
