Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of applicable work experience
  • Helps develop Zebra technical solutions; expert in multiple areas
  • Proven sales leadership; helps define the sales skills required for Zebra success and how best to obtain them
  • Creates policies and practices with appropriate functional support; proven high end managerial talent

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support a comprehensive sales strategy, based on an in-depth assessment of market trends, market share and evaluation of opportunities that enables growth through a strong presence in the market.
  • Anticipate potential opportunities and challenges through continued evaluation of market data and sales performance, providing insights to the GM and SLT that continue to help shape strategic direction and actions to enable growth.
  • Build and develop relationships and network with the Area Sales Leaders and their teams down to individual seller level, to give insight into customer issues, perceptions and market trends.
  • Own execution on Strategy Process – aligning with Finance, Sales Ops, Business Units and Sales Regions
  • Take ownership of the market share/competitive analysis driving data driven insights for region.
  • Act as an independent consultant for the EMEA GM and for the EMEA SLT.
  • Drive specific initiatives, as identified during the year. Ensure initiatives can be operationalized and drive the building of the relevant tools.
  • Develop a set of actionable vertical strategies – aligned with the regions and the territories.
  • Support regions and territories with insights, market intelligence and vertical sales expertise as required.
  • Ensure a consistent approach to promotions and sales initiatives. Review proposals and needs and suggest / propose actionable alternatives aligned with regional needs and global direction.
  • Support the Products and Solutions organization with data driven insights. Identify potential red flags and help build/develop appropriate strategies aligned with the Regional Product Managers.
  • Ensure consistent communication in both internal and external events. Support GM with content development and work closely with Marketing in Events preparation.
  • Be Zebra’s EMEA spokesperson for strategy matters at internal and external events.
