Responsibilities:

IS THIS THE ROLE FOR YOU?

As DTR Manager you will have accountability for driving profitable business growth across key accounts, handling relationships and business performance. Supported by the Commercial Director DTR – you will evaluate and implement DTR deals with new & existing partners focused in the apparel and accessories space.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Principal Accountabilities

Retail/DTR Account Management:

  • Create strong partnership with leading retailers to secure visibility and partner presence on shelves. Negotiate and assure implementation of franchise driven initiatives with core retail partners and agent partners (SRTL)
  • Build a long term strategic plan by retailer outlining overall revenue growth by franchise, buying department and territory.
  • Establish regular cadence meetings/calls with buying teams (weekly) and licensing central teams (monthly) and schedule and identify agenda for Top 2 Top ¼ business reviews.
  • Develop proactive ideas (across product development and marketing) that promote our brands and resonate with buying and central licensing teams.
  • Ensure all work (including pitch decks, marketing collateral, creative responses to briefs) is to the standard and delivers against requirements
  • Ensure any retailer priorities, marketing plans, timelines are shared with internal marketing and creative teams.
  • Establish regular competitor analysis to understand size of competitor business by franchise, design, product category

Financial Management:

  • Deliver annual sales target through management of quarterly forecasting process and tracking actual reported sales against forecast by territory and franchise.
  • Implement clear process to track range selections and volumes to support forecasting process
  • Partner with central finance & operations teams to ensure all accounts submit forecasts, royalty statements and payments in a timely manner.

Legal & Contract Management:

  • Lead new contract negotiations improving commercial terms per agreement.

Team & Culture:

  • Demonstrate a collaborative mind-set when working with all partners
  • Champion and promote the needs of each retailer within broader Paramount CP&E organization (Regional and Global)
  • Establish quarterly share-out of findings and creative work with broader organization, international and global teams.
