RÔLE
Le Directeur Stratégique est le leader stratégique sur un ou plusieurs projets spécifiques. En tant que leader stratégique, cette personne travaille avec des équipes multidisciplinaires pour promouvoir et nous orienter vers un travail transformateur et des résultats significatifs pour nos clients. Un historique prouvé de succès dans la conduite de stratégies innovantes et la traduction d’observations en briefs inspirants, ainsi que des feuilles de route pour les marques, les produits et les campagnes, est essentiel. De plus, le Directeur Stratégique doit maîtriser les stratégies de communication, y compris la publicité traditionnelle et numérique, le web, le mobile, les médias sociaux, le commerce de détail, les événements et le marketing expérientiel.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors or Masters degree
  • 8+ years relevant experience, ideally in a creative agency
  • Experience with iconic brands and award winning or heart winning creative
  • Proof of effectiveness of work, with Effectiveness awards an asset
  • Global advertising experience, an asset
  • Experience in social media strategy and/or connections planning, an asset
  • Superior storyteller (both written and verbal) with a clear and concise style
  • Excellent brief writer
  • Experience and interest in mentoring, training and guiding juniors
  • Keen student of trends and best practices - tech, cultural and media
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (International collaborators and customers).

Responsibilities:

ROLE

The Strategy Director is the strategic leader on a specific and/or multiple pieces of business. As the strategic leader, this person works with multidisciplinary teams to champion and push us towards transformative work and meaningful results for our clients. A proven track record of success at leading innovative strategies and translating insights into inspiring briefs and brand, product and campaign roadmaps is critical. In addition, the Strategy Director should be versed in communications strategies, including traditional and digital advertising, web, mobile, social media, retail, events and experiential marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Thorough understanding of the brand, culture, the consumer and the marketplace
  • Ownership of all knowledge as it pertains to the account as well as an understanding of how to acquire more
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of how the client’s business operates and the motivations of the various stakeholders
  • Root creativity in commercial performance through the understanding and application of data and research
  • Distill complex information into simple and intelligent stories and deliver it in an engaging and inspirational manner
  • Translate brand, audience, culture and market insights into clear and inspiring creative briefs and fuel the creative process
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to deliver work that creates impact in culture
  • Provide clear, constructive and actionable feedback to teams
  • Build strong relationships with creative, account and client teams as well as with partner agencies – creator of harmony
  • Provide a strong and informed point of view on how the brand should behave and capture opportunities for growth that exist in the market
  • Lead both internal and client presentations and workshops
  • Guide, mentor and/or manage Senior Strategists, Strategists, Junior Strategists and analysts to ensure progressive work and strategic excellence.
  • Apply relevant combination of business, CX, brand strategy to drive value
  • Identify and map key touch points, and leverage points where brands and people should connect
  • Plan, brief and oversee primary qualitative and quantitative research and drive research design and insight development
