Concentrix Catalyst is currently seeking a Director of Business Intelligence Consulting. This role will be responsible for delivering successful client outcomes with a global team of BI consultants. Candidates should have experience leading data & analytics teams and strategic, enterprise level work streams. They should have a strong track record of success in business intelligence. This is a high visibility, high touch consulting leadership role that blends technical skills, solution design, excellent communication, project management, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with clients to understand data & analytic needs, quickly synthesize disparate information, architect best-in-class solutions, and articulate it back in a way that inspires confidence in company’s ability to execute.
  • Develop project scope, goals, and strategic plans for delivering BI solutions to clients.
  • Build project plans and manage teams of consultants & engineers to deliver solutions to clients.
  • Assist in managing and driving practice revenue and utilization targets by ensuring consultants and project assignments are optimized.
  • Manage client engagement, particularly related to active and future project work streams. Become trusted advisor to client and develop business relationships.
  • Develop vision for the Data & Analytics Service Line, in particular the BI COE, and drive creation of new competency areas.
  • Contribute positively to our team culture & the Business Insights Guild by joining or running Communities, sharing best practices, and participating in team events.
  • Being a strong Career Advocate for direct reports. Mentor and guide them through their career Learning Paths.

Qualifications

  • IT experience combined with outstanding leadership, communication, presentation, customer service, analytical and project management skills.
  • Astrong track record in executing complex enterprise business intelligence projects with many or all the standard enterprise BI platforms including PowerBI, Tableau & Tableau CRM, Qlik, MicroStrategy, IBM Cognos, SAP SAC, Alteryx, etc.
  • Astrong understanding of data architecture and data modernization for the purposes of business intelligence, with specific knowledge surrounding cloud data warehouse platforms including Azure Synapse, Databricks, & Snowflake.
  • Athought leader in next generation business intelligence including human-centric design, data storytelling best practices, embedded BI, and AI powered BI solutions.
  • Excellent business and financial savvy. Expertise in multiple verticals, lines or business, and exposure to variety of use cases and solution patterns.
  • Outstanding English communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management. This can include communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences, using negotiation & persuasive skills.
