Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Director, Brand Strategy, you will contribute to agency growth by leading the integration of brand and product strategy with creative for agency clients. Guide the discovery of insights that evolve client thinking, brand positioning, marketing planning and inspire great creative work.
Minimum of eight years’ experience in developing brand and product strategy in the medical device, medical technology required and/or healthcare industry (pharmaceuticals). Experience in both B2B and B2C healthcare audiences. Proven success in leveraging data and insights to sell strategic ideas across client organizations. Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to clearly articulate thoughts, ideas and facts. Proficient in creating impactful presentations; a PowerPoint and/or Keynote power user. Comfort with public speaking and demonstrates strong presentation skills. Medical device, medical technology and healthcare experience required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive the discovery and development of brand and product strategy for medical devices (required), medical technology and healthcare clients (pharmecutical ).
  • Lead client meetings and workshops to support brand positioning, messaging, brand architecture development (master brand, portfolio or franchise and product level positioning).
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research & insights projects to support deeper understanding of target audience needs, as well as positioning validation.
  • Partner with clients and creative teams to unearth target audience needs, unique value propositions, and supporting reasons to believe.
  • Work with client services and creative teams to write actionable creative briefs that distill insights into a strategic concept the creative team can bring to life.
  • Support creative development & execution: stay involved in and help guide creative ideation and concepting throughout the process, ensuring all deliverables align with the approved strategy across all platforms; guide the development of strategic frameworks for content creation.
  • Lead and develop go-to-market plans to activate the creative campaign, including: content strategy, tactical recommendations and communication plans
  • Participate in business development efforts: assist with new business RFPs and pitches as needed; ensure we present a strategic process that is easy to understand and implement.
  • Partner with client services teams to proactively identify opportunities for account growth bring new innovative thinking to clients that propel their businesses forward
  • Support SVP of Strategy in development and expansion of capability set
  • Serve as a thought leader for the agency and its clients; writing POVs and blog articles; leading training and workshops; and sharing best practices, emerging trends, and innovations
