Job Title: Business Development Director, LATAM
Department & Team: Sales Growth Marketing
Location: Mexico City, Mexico
Job Reports to: Heidi Parcell, VP Sales Growth Marketing
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a forward thinking, business growth leader! The Sales Development Director is a critical business partner in the Genesys GTM function, LATAM region.
You will drive a team of skilled sales development prospectors across multiple countries to generate new opportunities for sales.
As a key member of the regional leadership team, you will build strong and lasting relationships with your regional counterparts in marketing and sales, while reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales Growth Marketing.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial to help continue to build a high growth business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new opportunities and pipeline to help sales meet aggressive growth targets
  • Work closely with Marketing on campaign planning, execution, and follow-up
  • Understand how to build a sales development tech-stack
  • Lead a regional team of BDRs across major markets in LATAM, while considering the different cultural aspects for GTM
  • Strong ability to recruit, train, coach and motivate a geographically spread-out team, with clear career paths either within your own org, or another function at Genesys
  • Have a deep understanding of lead and opportunity management processes and workflows; be able to interpret different sources of data, see the ‘bigger picture’ and decipher insights to help reach company goals
  • Aptitude and analytics capability to understand, position and sell technology products
  • Encourage team members to design and execute effective outbound campaigns ensuring the full coverage of the named accounts defined for each territory.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10 years + experience in Enterprise SaaS prospecting and/or sales
  • Proven leadership qualities and experience across multiple countries and cultures and consistently overperforming targets
  • Experience in selling CX, sales and marketing tools is preferred but not required
  • English-speaking and Spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience in leading a team size of 10+ including directly leading managers and BDRs
