Description:

Iterative Health is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence-based precision medicine in gastroenterology, with the aim of helping to optimize clinical trials investigating the treatment of IBD. We use advanced machine learning and computer vision to interpret endoscopic videos along with other types of data, helping clinicians better assess patients with potential GI problems. Ultimately, the company aims to establish more meaningful endpoints to serve as better predictors of both therapeutic response and disease outcomes.
Iterative Health is seeking a Director, Business Development (Life Sciences). This external-facing role will require strong communication and external knowledge of the biopharma and clinical trials landscape in gastroenterology and hepatology, in addition to a strong strategic skill set. A successful candidate will work collaboratively with a diverse team of life sciences, customer success, product, technologists, and clinical experts to drive growth and expansion of our trials business and make a huge impact.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Cultivate and continue relationships with biopharma and biotech partners, serving as an external facing representative of IH to the scientific and research communities
  • Support evolution of clinical trial recruitment strategy, including business development, product offering, pricing and contracting, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for customer expansion, growth and evolution of alliance management
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, product, life sciences, etc. to ensure and optimize alignment on client goals and trial recruitment

Required skills:

  • Experience in an MSL, medical affairs or clinical operations role at a biopharma/biotech company
  • Network of biopharma / biotech contacts and relationships in gastroenterology and/or hepatology
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to drive business growth
  • Experience working across life sciences, healthcare consulting, site networks, or CROs
  • Strong written/verbal and external communication and interpersonal skills
