As a Director for Client Delivery, you will be managing the delivery of Calypso projects for our customers in Australia. This would entail ensuring that contracted services to clients meet or exceed SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators) as defined in the relevant contracts. You will also ensure governance is in place over project delivery, risks, scope of work and budget while building and maintaining strong client relationships by providing them day-to-day advice and support.

What You Will Do

  • Builds, manages, and provides leadership to a team; performs other talent management and development decisions as needed
  • Develops and establishes functional strategy and tactics to ensure successful completion of work that meets or exceeds client and/or organizational expectations
  • Handles resources and takes accountability for the performance and results of multiple related teams
  • Develops departmental/functional plans, including business unit and/or production priorities, to address resource and operational needs and challenges
  • Identifies, establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers internally and externally
  • Provides subject matter expertise to clients, team members, colleagues, etc. on projects
  • Participates in both internal and external projects that are broad in scope and closely tied to the organizational strategy
  • Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with internal and external teams to understand risks, priorities, etc. and ensure a successful end result
  • Evaluates current business processes and systems, ensuring cost-savings and risk control
  • Coordinates financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency
  • Reviews team and individual performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels
  • Motivates, develops, recruits and retains employees while rewarding and cultivating a culture of high performing teams
  • Coaches and/or leads the creation of detailed functional specifications
  • Identifies common business drivers and requirements at different customers. Communicates internally the software needs of the end users, i.e. in a bid activity.
  • Leads the team with process redesign and efficiency improvements
  • Maintains control over project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget; ensures that operational teams and subcontractors have a clear understanding of client requirements
  • Promotes the organization’s capabilities to clients, identifies sales opportunities, achieves contract extensions and additional business
  • Oversees the development of contracts that involve both short and long term commitment of service and vary significantly in complexity, value and strategic importance
  • Work on product requirements in large deliveries to external customers, providing extensive support to project management in discussions about the agreements, scope of delivery and planning of the project
  • Collaborates with business owners and stakeholders to obtain detailed business and system requirements for large and complex assignments

What We Expect

  • A seasoned leader with a minimum of 15 years capital markets experience in product delivery or project management
  • At least 5 years of people management experience

Our work arrangement is hybrid. You will be coming in to the office at least 2 days per week.
